The atelier

Four hands,
one strand at a time.

LITHOS was founded on a narrow idea: that a gemstone bracelet deserves the same scrutiny as a fine ring. No dye, no stabilisation, no marketing mysticism — only the material, cut well. Everything is made in a single workshop on Carrer d'Enric Granados in Barcelona.

01

Sourcing

We buy unworked rough directly at the quarry — never through a broker, never pre-cut. Jade from Myanmar, amethyst from Uruguay, quartz from Minas Gerais. Each lot is bought whole and cut in-house.

02

Grading

Every sphere is examined under raking light for fractures, tone shift and inclusion density. Roughly seven in ten are set aside. What survives grading is what you see on the wrist.

03

Polishing

Five stages, from coarse abrasive to a final cerium oxide pass. No coating, no resin, no colour enhancement. The gloss is the stone itself.

04

Assembly

One artisan strings each piece on a double-braided elastic core, matching tone across the strand by eye. The knot is hand-tied and set. Every piece is numbered on its grading card.

Aurora 8 — Amethyst & Mixed Mineral
Rosé 8 — Strawberry Quartz
Verde 8 — Natural Jade

Care

Stone rewards
attention.

Remove before swimming, bathing and sport. Chlorine and salt dull the polish over time — the damage is cumulative and not reversible.

Keep away from perfume, hairspray and household cleaners. Apply fragrance first, then dress, then put the piece on.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear. Never use ultrasonic cleaners on porous material such as quartz with inclusions.

Store flat and separately in the case supplied. We re-string any LITHOS piece free of charge for two years.
